The reservation price is requested by the seller for the car. Although bidders cannot see the reservation price, they can observe whether it has been met. In cases where a bid is made just before the auction concludes, the auction’s duration extends with each new bid, ensuring that additional bids can always be made at higher amounts.
The bidding starts at the car’s starting price. Placing this bid means that the bidding has started, not that the reservation price has been reached.
When the bid for the starting price is placed, you can choose to place a price more/less than the car’s current price depending it’s a reverse or forward auction.
The bidding increment refers to the minimum amount by which a bid must increase over the previous bid in an auction. It is established to ensure that bidding progresses in an orderly manner and to prevent minimal or insignificant increases in bids.
For example, if the bidding increment is set at $100 and the current highest bid is $1,000, the next bid must be at least $1,100 to be considered valid.
The bidding increment affects the auction by dictating the pace and competitiveness of bidding. A smaller increment may lead to more frequent bids and faster increases in the auction price, while a larger increment may result in slower bidding and smaller increments between bids.
The Bid Decrement is the minimum amount by which a Seller’s total bid price must decrease when submitting a rebid, and only applies during the rebid process.
For example, if the initial bid is $1,000, and the Bid Decrement set by the Seller is $100, the total bid price must decrease at least $100 from the initial bid in order to submit a rebid. In this example, the total bid price would have to be $900 or lower to submit a rebid.
The most convenient method to pay for the car is through Bank-to-Bank Transfer (T/T). We are also working on introducing additional payment methods in the near future.
Typically, bank transfers are completed within two to four business days, subject to the origin and destination of the transfer, as well as any currency exchange processes involved. Once the payment is received, Carsauc will promptly notify you.
